In conjunction with the annual Toys for Tots drive, Kids Can Community Center is offering the opportunity to adopt families in need during the upcoming holiday season. Families on the list for adoption are in need of basic necessities such as socks, underwear, pajamas, coats, and other household items.
Individuals, families or companies can easily adopt a family for the holidays. You will be matched with a specific family and given a list of their needed items as well as clothes and shoe sizes for children. Kids Can’s mission is to empower children and parents to reach their potential and enable older adults to maintain their independence. We primarily serve the South Omaha Community and through a wide variety of programs such as preschool, toddler program, childcare, before school, after school, and tutoring in addition to community service programs such as senior transportation, free tax assistance, food pantry referrals and computer classes.
