The Hope Center for Kids Collecting Winter Gear, Holiday Gifts for Youth

The Hope Center for Kids (hopecenterforkids.com) in North Omaha is collecting new outerwear to help keep children and youth members well this season. Donations of new winter coats, gloves, hats and hygiene items such as lip balm and lotion are being accepted at The Hope-Omaha, 2200 N. 20th St. The Winter Wellness Drive goes through Friday, November 10th.

The Hope-Omaha has also launched its annual Holiday Drive, collecting gifts for its members’ families, as well as gifts for children ages 5-12 and youth ages 13-19. Every Christmas, members at The Hope have the opportunity to choose new gifts for loved ones and wrap them with the help of volunteers. These members are also blessed with one gift during an annual holiday party at The Hope.

The complete lists of needed items can be found online at hopecenterforkids.com/give-items. New, unwrapped gifts can be delivered to The Hope Center for Kids through Thursday, Dec.ember 14.

The greatest needs are for men’s gifts and for gift cards ranging from $5 to $25 to Target, Walmart, iTunes or Google Play. No clothing will be accepted.
