Heartland Workforce Solutions celebrated the grand opening of its new facility at 5752 Ames Avenue. The event featured self-guided tours and remarks and a ribbon cutting. HWS, partnering community agencies and businesses, as well as local elected officials and dignitaries all came together to usher in a transformational way job-seekers and employers connect to fill middle skills employment gaps.
HWS supports adults, dislocated workers and youth as they seek their personal pathway toward employment through assessment, coaching, and basic and soft skills training. We also support job seekers to attain specialized education, on the job training and employment credentials. In addition, HWS works with large and small businesses to address their need for a work-ready talent pool of job applicants.
