Reservations are now being taken for the sixth annual Big Red Tailgate, a benefit supporting Completely KIDS, an Omaha nonprofit dedicated to serving at-risk youth and their families.
The Completely KIDS Guild-sponsored event will be held Sept. 14 at the Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel and Convention Center, 3321 S. 72nd St. A silent auction and cocktails will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. and a live auction at 8:30 p.m. A raffle prize drawing will take place during the evening.
Last year, the guild raised more than $178,000 for Completely KIDS through the Big Red Tailgate event. Completely KIDS develops youth and their families through out-of-school time and family strengthening programs in communities where they live. Annually, it serves more than 2,000 youth in seven schools, three homeless shelters and at the Completely KIDS headquarters, 2566 St. Mary’s Ave.
Cost is $75 for individuals ages 35 and under; $125 for regular reservations; and $150 for patron reservations.
