The 14th Annual Ted E. Bear Hollow 5K Run & Remembrance Walk will be held Saturday, August 25th with an 8 am start at Outback Steakhouse on 7605 Cass Street.
This race supports Ted E. Bear Hollow, a center for grieving children and their families. The 5K is a chip timed run managed by The Omaha Running Club. Runners will race south down the Keystone Trail as the Remembrance walkers walk north up Keystone Trail towards Roberts park and back. The Remembrance Walk is just short of two miles in length.
Upon return, both walkers and runners will enjoy a family atmosphere with remembrance activities of many types. All participants will enjoy Outback Steakhouse food, have an opportunity to meet the 2012-2013 Creighton Men’s Basketball Team and receive autographed Blue Jay posters.
