Mead has a history that goes back more than 8,000 years and is believed to be the world’s oldest alcoholic drink. It’s a fermented  beverage made from honey, water and yeast. It can be created in an almost limitless array of varieties including Melomel (fruit or fruit juice ) , Cyser (apples), Capsumel (chile peppers), and Metheglins (spices ). Mead has a distinct flavor and aroma not found in wine or beer, however both types of drinkers are sure to enjoy!

MoonStruck Meadery is owned by Brian Schlueter, along with his business partner, Dustin Koppit. Their passion for mead stems from years of homebrewing, and their interest in educating others on the art of craft beverages.

MoonStruck Meadery will have a tasting room available evening and weekends and available for private parties.
