Omaha insurance broker/consultant Scott M. Stevens, RHU, CDHC, of S.M. Stevens and Associates and NP Dodge Insurance, has been awarded the 2014 HIU Award for Excellence in Journalism. His ongoing health insurance/healthcare blog interpreting the changing healthcare marketplace over the last year was cited for its merits, along with his contributions to NAHU’s monthly trade magazine, Health Insurance Underwriter.
Stevens began writing the blog nearly two years ago as a guide to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) because his business clients needed clarity, understanding, and strategy relating to the many regulations and changes in healthcare and insurance.
