Join the Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) for the FARE Walk for Food Allergy, presented by Mylan, on June 13th at Stinson Park as community members walk to raise funds and awareness for food allergies.
The allergy-friendly event will include tables of food samples from sponsors, an Omaha Storm Chasers and Asthma and Allergy Center “Peanut Free Night” booth, a DJ, crafts for the kids, an Omaha Food Allergy Support Group representative, raffle and participation prizes, a visit from the Omaha Fire Department, and more! The walk is a short mile loop and there is no cost to participate, though fundraising is encouraged. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the walk following at 10:00 a.m.
The steps you take will support Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), the leading national organization working on behalf of individuals and families managing food allergies, in its mission to improve the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies and to provide them hope through the promise of new treatments.
