Excellence in Worksite Wellness Award Winners Announced

WELLCOM (www.elevatingwellness.org) will be recognizing more than 20 of the Midlands’ healthiest companies at its annual awards luncheon from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7 at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in La Vista. The luncheon will feature a keynote address from Jessica Turner, a best-selling author and lifestyle blogger, on the topic of thriving in work and in life.

The Excellence in Worksite Wellness Awards Luncheon honors organizations for positioning wellness programs as a strategic business opportunity and making a difference in their employees’ lives. WELLCOM also has partnered with the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association in recognizing organizations who have achieved excellence at the workplace through wellness initiatives.

This year’s event is in conjunction with WELLCOM’s Q4 Innovative Symposium, “Worksite Wellness and Sustainability – A Thriving Triple Bottom Line of People, Planet and Profit.” Lacy Cagle from the Northwest Earth Institute in Portland, Ore., will be the featured presenter.
