Date Changed for NAMI Omaha Public Educational Meeting

NAMI Omaha’s (www.naminebraska.org) next free Mental Health NAMI Affiliate meeting, open to the public, has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 3rd from 6-8 p.m.

This event will feature a slide presentation of NAMI’s newest program “Ending the Silence” (Surrounding Mental Health Conditions). It is a free program that is now available to area schools. No reservations are necessary and a complimentary light meal will be served.

These meetings take place the first Thursday of each month at First United Methodist Church, located at 7020 Cass Street in Omaha. Parking is available on the east and north side of the church. Enter through doors 4 or 6 and proceed to room 112.

NAMI Omaha is a local affiliate of The National Alliance on Mental Illness. They provide free support to family and friends who have a loved one living with mental illness through education, literature, workshops, conferences, support groups and more.
