Mike Gerst, owner of the 35-year-old Gerst Painting and Contracting and Garbo’s Salons and Spa’s owners Mary Lou Walker, Roxanne Kahn, and Darcy Michalek announced they are partnering on the ‘It’s All About Color’ marketing campaign.
“In our salons we specialize in making our clients look the best all the time,” explained Michalek. “Careful selection of hair color and styles bring out their best image. Gerst Painting and Contracting does the same thing with the interior and exterior of their client’s homes and they too have color consultants on staff. As a result of our similarities we decided to combine our color focus efforts and co-market our products and services.”
“When a client selects Gerst as their painter or contractor for over $950 of specialized work by December 1, 2011, we will issue them a voucher for $101 to be used for any service at Garbo’s four Omaha locations” added Gerst.
Garbo’s Salons and Spa has four Omaha locations at Regency, Village Pointe, Eagle Run and Oak View Mall. Gerst Painting and Contracting was formed by Mike Gerst, who started from his station wagon 35 years ago and now employs 30 painters, carpenters and handymen.
