Summit Care and Wellness Treatment and Counseling, PC is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Barb Eckert, Psy.D., PLD, LIMHP, LMPH, LPC, CI-I to the clinical staff.
Dr. Barb Eckert has a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University, Minneapolis, MN. She received her Master’s in Counseling at Grace University, Omaha, NE. Dr. Eckert has been a psychotherapist with community agencies in Lincoln and Omaha working with culturally diverse populations. She is a skilled educator and presenter drawing from her knowledge regarding women’s issues, domestic violence, trauma, self-worth, parenting and work with the elderly. She is an Adjunct Professor in Psychology at Southeast Community College in Lincoln.
Dr. Barb Eckert is the Supervising Practitioner for Summit. Dr. Eckert performs Mental Status Exams, Mental Health evaluations and works with clients on an individual basis.
