Living In The Yellow Adds Concealed Handgun Permit Class, Announces Upcoming Schedule

Patty Nun, an NRA Trained Pistol Instructor, and owner of Living In The Yellow (www.livingintheyellow.org), has announced their first Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) Class will be offered in Lincoln, NE on Saturday, June 23.  This program is approved and required for those women who would like to apply to the Nebraska State Patrol to be able to carry a concealed handgun.

Living In The Yellow has been providing Women’s Basic Pistol Training Classes since 2014 and that class is required for those who would like to attend this CHP training.  “We feel strongly that a basic training class better prepares a woman to know and understand how to safely operate a firearm, and provides them with the confidence needed to be able to select a gun they will be personally comfortable with owning and operating,” says Nun.

Living In The Yellow’s next Basic Pistol Course for Women is being offered Saturday, September 22, 2018. This full day class is for women who have little or no previous experience handling a pistol.  Registration is limited to twelve participants and would qualify the attendees to attend a CHP Class in the future.

“More than ever, women are concerned for their safety.  We all know there is no substitute for being prepared and aware of our surroundings to insure the safety of ourselves and our family members.  That is the common theme of the training we do at Living in the Yellow,” says Nun.
