LeadBelly Now Open in Midtown Crossing

Omaha is now a LeadBelly (www.getleaded.com) city. The casual-comfortable contemporary American pub has officially opened its new Midtown Crossing location, a companion to the original concept in Lincoln.

LeadBelly specializes in made-from-scratch, high-quality pub food from around the world, including gourmet burgers, sandwiches and salads with a large selection of hand-crafted beers, whiskeys and wines – all at a “comfortable price point in an unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere,” says Mike Martin, a co-owner of Red Herring Concepts, the hospitality company that runs LeadBelly.

In a break from the Lincoln location, LeadBelly-Midtown Crossing (3201 Farnam St.) features an expanded entrée section that includes wood-fired pizzas and additional steak and seafood dinner options. What remains unchanged is a restaurant design that uses reclaimed materials – everything from barn wood floors to reclaimed doors – to convey comfort with a contemporary twist. “I think the interior remodel came out almost better than we expected thanks to the materials Jason Gilbreath at Reclaimed Enterprises provided,” Martin says.

The Midtown Crossing opening brings Red Herring Concepts closer to its “big goal” – to be a regional restaurant company with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. For more information about LeadBelly, please call the restaurant at (402) 502-1713 or visit www.getleaded.com.
