Through funding from the U.S. Department of Labor, Nebraska’s Job Driven program creates reemployment services and work-based trainings for dislocated workers, the long-term unemployed, and veterans returning from service. This industry-driven project connects and prepares participants for employment opportunities in manufacturing and transportation, distribution, and logistics (TDL) industries.

The Job Driven program serves both employers and job seekers. Employer services include: on-the-job training reimbursement, candidate searches, employee preparation, and job placement assistance. Eligible
employers must be from the private or private non-profit sector, and must meet one of the criteria below:
• Be in the Manufacturing or TDL industries, or
• Have available full-time permanent positions that qualify as Manufacturing or TDL occupations, regardless of the employer’s industry. Job seeker services include: on-the-job training, job coaching, career counseling, and job placement assistance.

Eligible individuals for the Job Driven program must be one of the following:
• Dislocated workers
• Long-term unemployed individuals
• Recently separated veterans (in the last 3 years)
