Greater Omaha Chamber Announces Economic Outlook Luncheon

The Greater Omaha Chamber (www.omahachamber.org/) expects nearly 800 area leaders, many of whom are actively weighing in on the collaborative strategies and collective foresight driving the region’s competitive position for the next 25 years, to attend its upcoming Economic Outlook Luncheon on November 13 at Embassy Suites Omaha, La Vista. The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Single tickets are $70 (members) / $85 (non-members); a table of ten is $700 (members) / $850 (non-members). Event sponsors include ACCESSbank, Baird Holm LLP, D.A. Davidson & Co., Deloitte LLP, and Lamp Rynearson, with KETV as the media sponsor.

Results of the area’s Economic Outlook Survey, a yearly measure of projected economic and commercial activity, as well as hiring intentions and capital investment, will be presented at the event.

“The annual Economic Outlook Survey provides a framework for driving business development, talent acquisition, and collaborative growth in areas that propel our collective future and favorably shape the region,” said David G. Brown, president and CEO, Greater Omaha Chamber.

Rich Karlgaard, entrepreneur-turned-Forbes magazine publisher and futurist, will keynote the event. Considered one of the most influential figures in technology and economics, Karlgaard will provide insight on adapting in an era of technological and political disruption, while thriving in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.
