Business Ethics Alliance Announces 2017 Greater Omaha Organizational Ethics Survey

The Business Ethics Alliance (businessethicsalliance.org) has released its 2017 Greater Omaha Organizational Ethics Survey. Produced with support from the Better Business Bureau and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, the survey assesses the ways that Omaha organizations manage ethics. The results function as a benchmark of organizational ethics in Greater Omaha and as a guiding template for other business communities.

The number of organizations reporting that they have formal ethics and/or compliance programs is at an all-time high. The Alliance sees these results as cause for celebration. “We believe there is a strong relationship between the work of the Business Ethics Alliance and the positive ethics climate in Omaha,” says Dr. Beverly Kracher, CEO and executive director of the Business Ethics Alliance.

The Alliance partners with the Better Business Bureau, the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Creighton University’s Heider College of Business and the entire business community to foster and support business ethics. They accomplish this by hosting a variety of engaging events throughout the year, tackling today’s pressing ethical issues. The organization also offers a suite of educational workshops, consultation services and ethics products to help Omaha businesses and nonprofits develop ethical cultures. More information and the survey results can be found on their website at businessethicsalliance.org.
