The Southwest Omaha Rotary Night Club’s 6th annual Fine Wine & Hors d’ Oeuvres tasting and live/silent auction event is approaching and tickets are going quickly.  The event, which will be October 9th beginning at 6:30 pm, is held at The Club at Indian Creek, 3825 N. 202nd Street. The event benefits the Boys Town National Hotline, an organization that is celebrating their 25th anniversary.  Tickets are $50 per person.  For an additional $20, attendees can enjoy unlimited premium wines and beer.

The Southwest Omaha Rotary Night Club Wine Tasting fundraisers have raised more than $100,000 over the past five years.  Last year’s auction featured almost 100 silent auction items and 13 live auction packages.  The Club is excited to give back to the Boys Town National Hotline, the recipient of this event’s proceeds.  In 2013, the Boys Town National Hotline answered over 115,000 calls and responded to 36,000 web-based contacts.  Of these contacts, over 18,000 dealt with suicidal thoughts and 632 involved individuals who were in the actual act of suicide.
