Bland & Associates is excited about the exceptional year they experienced in 2011 and are looking forward to what the new year will bring. 2011 was a year of growth for the CPA firm, which including adding 10 new staff members, moving to a larger and nicer office in Regency, and increasing their revenue by over 25%, continuing their growth in all of their core areas. It was also a year of recognition for the firm as they were voted one of Accounting Today’s 2011 Best Accounting Firms to Work For, Millard Business Association’s 2011 “Large Business of the Year”, and INSIDE Public Accounting 2011 Best of the Best All Star Firms and Top 100 Fast-Growing Firms, just to name a few accomplishments. The staff of Bland & Associates also enjoyed a year of launching new directions. In 2011 they launched their new tagline, “Beyond Accounting”, organized a group of professional service providers to enhance Bland’s ability to provide expertise for business owners called “Blend”, and launched new outsourced accounting for non-profits, Tribal and government entities.
Bland & Associates, founded in 1976 by Jerry Bland (now retired), offers audit, tax, accounting, bookkeeping and management consulting services. They also offer business services such as strategic planning, growth and expansion, business improvement, planning and compliance. The shareholders of Bland all over twelve or more years of experience and plan on serving clients for many years to come and employee turnover is relatively low so that client relationships are started and continued with the same people. The team at Bland includes 44 employees (three shareholders, nine managers, ten seniors, fourteen staff, five administrative staff and three interns).
