Contemporary Analysis (CAN), a burgeoning predictive analytics company is celebrating their fourth birthday by announcing the ribbon cutting of their new office, training, and development space on the first floor in the downtown Old Market area at 1209 Harney St. The ribbon cutting took place Wednesday, April 18th from 4 PM to 6 PM. This marked the third expansion of the company in two years and gives CAN the much-needed ability to hire an additional 20 employees.

It is an exciting time for CAN. In just 4 years CAN has become a leader in the burgeoning fields of data science and predictive analytics. Strategic Air and Space Museum Announces “The Sky’s The Limit” Camp

The Strategic Air and Space Museum is pleased to announce a brand new camp, “The Sky’s The Limit”. If it belongs in the air, then you’ll get to see it. Campers will be exposed to aviation, rocketry, astronomy, high altitude ballooning and more. Campers will have the opportunity to experience a real flight on a private aircraft courtesy of Advanced Air, Inc. in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Campers will take a tethered hot air balloon flight (weather permitting). Youth will create, build, and test various flight-based projects and designs that will go into space on a high altitude balloon! This is not your ordinary week at summer camp! Spend three nights and four days exploring the skies above the earth. Lodging and meals will be provided. The camp will be offered June 18-21st and July 9-12th.

In addition to this new camp, they also offer Super Science Camps including the Robotics Camp (June 11-15 and July 30-Aug 3), Mad Scientist Camp (June 27-29), Weekend Flight Camp (July 13-15, July 20-22 and August 3-5), Astronaut Academy (July 22-26) and Visit the NASA Kennedy Space Center (July 15-20).

Cross Pointe Innovations Announces 3rd Annual Charity Golf Outing

Cross Pointe Innovations will be hosting its 3rd Annual Charity Golf Outing on Friday, June 15th at Tregaron Golf Course in Bellevue, Nebraska. The funds raised from this event go to the Special Needs Prom for the Omaha Public Schools. The goal of Prom is to provide a safe, free, fun filled evening for students who have traditionally not attended their own high school formals because of their handicap or disability. Last year over $6,700 was donated to this event.

They are in need of golfers, hole sponsors, raffle and flag prizes, as well as any and all other contributions.
