For those of you just now following my journey through the Leadership Acceleration Program or LEAP, this is going to be a 12-month leadership program for individuals passionate about being leaders and reaching the potential in themselves and others. This program will ensure high performance through monthly, half-day skill building workshops; individual personalized coaching and confidential peer interaction. Provided is comprehensive materials and preparation, high-energy and experiential curriculum, reflection and self-discovery time, individual development planning and so much more.

Since the last entry of my journey through the LEAP program, I discussed my goal of getting into a better, more controlled routine.  This has been a difficult challenge for me as I am not much of a “routine” person. However, I decided if my routine was mixed up enough, but remained focused around specific goals, I could handle life better and be a happier, more relaxed person.  So far I must say, it has been going well.  Every now and then, the unexpected happens and it’s difficult to get back on the horse, but I feel I’m doing a better job of jumping right back on and that is what is important.  I’ve learned through LEAP that it’s not about making drastic changes, or being upset about what I consider failure if I miss a beat, it’s about practicing the changes I am willing to chip away at that can make me the person I want to ultimately be. It’s not about changing who I am, it’s about refining what can be better and that is what makes me feel like a better person, therefore exuding a better, more confident ME. It’s almost like cleaning the house….you look at the entire house and think, “oh my goodness, where do I begin!?” Then you pick a room and start working and it seems the more you pull out, the dirtier the house gets then little by little, room by room, it all seems like a disaster you will never finish and then all of a sudden the whole house sparkles! I try to use this as a mindset that slow and steady is what it’s all about and patience and deep cleaning is really how I’m going to get my life to SPARKLE!  If you want to learn the steps to making your own life a better environment for you and those around you, and need some help focusing in on those steps, I cannot recommend the LEAP program enough. It has positively changed my life forever.
