For those of you just now following my journey through the Leadership Acceleration Program or LEAP, this is going to be a 12-month leadership program for individuals passionate about being leaders and reaching the potential in themselves and others. This program will ensure high performance through monthly, half-day skill building workshops; individual personalized coaching and confidential peer interaction. Provided is comprehensive materials and preparation, high-energy and experiential curriculum, reflection and self-discovery time, individual development planning and so much more.

Recently in LEAP, we have been going over in more detail our self-assessments. As I continue to learn about myself, the more I learn about others. I have prioritized travel in my life to understand different cultures as a whole, but I also recognize I fail to be a tourist in my own home town. And in that, I mean not only are there many things here locally I have yet to see, there are many things about people in our own society, I realize, I’ve never taken the time to understand.  The assessments I have taken not only break myself down, but also those that surround me and steps I need to take to become a better person as to how I listen and how I react. I’ve learned through LEAP that it’s not about making drastic changes, it’s about making changes I am willing to chip away at that I can slowly become the person I ultimately want to be. It’s not about changing myself or who I am. It’s about refining what can be better and what makes me feel like a better person, therefore exuding a better, more confident ME. It’s almost like cleaning the house….you look at the entire house and think, “Oh my goodness, where do I begin!?” Then you pick a room and start working and it seems the more you pull out, the dirtier the house gets then little by little, room by room, it all seems like a disaster you will never finish and then all of a sudden the whole house sparkles! I try to use this as a mindset that slow and steady is what it’s all about and patience and deep cleaning is really how I’m going to get my life to SPARKLE!  If you want to learn the steps to making your own life a better environment for you and those around you, and need some help focusing in on those steps, I cannot recommend the LEAP program enough. It has positively changed my life forever.
