LEAP Journal

For those of you just now following my journey through the Leadership Acceleration Program or LEAP, this is going to be a 12-month leadership program for individuals passionate about being leaders and reaching the potential in themselves and others. This program will ensure high performance through monthly, half-day skill building workshops; individual personalized coaching and confidential peer interaction. Provided is comprehensive materials and preparation, high-energy and experiential curriculum, reflection and self-discovery time, individual development planning and so much more.

Since my last entry with my journey through the LEAP program, I had the opportunity to capture my 360-degree Checkpoint. For this, I had a selected pool of peers from those I work with in the office to outside clients, friends, family and even my business coach. With this pool, we were all asked, including myself to analyze, if you will, what Angela Lee reflects personally and professionally.  It was so interesting to get back my results. I must admit, I was a bit nervous, but was actually amazed in the end.  Nikki Ellison sat down with me as we went over the results so everything was explained and made clear. It was so nice to see where there were disconnects and I was able to instantly recognize those breaches. The nice thing about the results too is it also helps show you a roadmap and blueprint as to how to restructure those disconnects. I have to admit, I feel quite blessed. In our office, everyone runs quite in synch with each other, there were only fractional areas flagged to work on.  I want to be certain to give credit where credit is due. Our team has been working with a business coach and I cannot express how incredibly important it is to an entire office to receive coaching sessions. It helps focus and gives an outside, unbiased view and interpretation in areas of both excellence as well as areas of disconnect. So if you do not currently work with a business coach, I highly recommend making the investment.  Studies show productivity and profit runs off the charts for businesses that utilize these types of services in their own companies.
