Lincoln’s own KZUM 89.3 FM/HD is pleased to announce the addition of Jill Mathis as their new Director of Development. Jill brings five plus years of marketing and advertising experience with a concentration in advertising, business development, writing and event coordinating. Prior to joining KZUM, Jill worked as an Account Executive at Strictly Business Magazine. Her role at KZUM includes sponsorship (sales), marketing/promotions and event coordination. She has been actively involved in LIBA, PNG, both Lincoln and Omaha Chambers of Commerce and is an active member of the Lincoln YWCA Event Planning Committee and serves on the Board for the Lincoln Chapter of the American Marketing Association. Jill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice and Public Administration from the University of Hawaii.
KZUM 89.3 FM/HD is a non-profit that has been an iconic fixture in Lincoln since 1978. It is staffed by four full time employees and powered by over 100 volunteer programmers, thereby providing an extensive selection of programming that can appeal to all members of our community. The mission of KZUM is to educate and build community through broadcast media, with diverse and independent voices that enrich the perspectives of our audiences.
