Olsson Associates, a national engineering and design firm, has acquired Scott Consulting Engineers, a Springfield engineering consulting firm.
Scott officially joined Olsson Associates today and became “Scott Consulting Engineers, a division of Olsson Associates.” Scott staff members will remain in their current office, 550 St. Louis Street, and Olsson staff will move into Scott’s building later this year.
No financial terms of the deal will be released.
Scott Consulting Engineers, P.C., began in 1980 under the leadership of Dick Scott. The firm offers a comprehensive range of civil engineering, municipal, water/wastewater, land surveying, and land use development and planning services to public and private clients.
Olsson Associates, www.oaconsulting.com, provides engineering and design services in transportation, water resources, water/wastewater, land development, landscape architecture and urban planning, as well as environmental resources and compliance, survey, geotechnical, and mechanical/electrical services. Established in 1956, the firm has more than 20 offices in the Midwest and Southwest U.S., including offices in Omaha, La Vista and Lincoln.
