Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is working with KLKN’s Channel 8 for its 2nd Annual “Stuff the Bus” promotion. In 2009, restaurant owners Justin & Jennifer Jones were able to donate several school supplies to children in need throughout nine different Lincoln Public Schools. They believe that they can continue to make a large impact for underprivileged children throughout Lincoln area school’s and are hoping to raise enough school supplies to assure these children have the needed supplies to assist with their education.
Residents are asked to bring new and packaged school supplies to the Raising Cane’s location on N. 48th Street. School supply collection will take place from July 1st through August 4th and those who donate to this cause will receive a free fresh squeezed lemonade just to say thank you.
Raising Cane’s has one love -- chicken fingers -- and focuses its menu offering on fresh, made-to-order chicken fingers paired with their homemade Cane’s sauce, grilled Texas Toast brushed with garlic butter, creamy Cole slaw and crinkle-cut French fries.
