Tom Miller, President of Lincoln Tent, has been chosen by the Special Olympics to provide tents for their event held in Lincoln July 18th – 23rd. Setting over 100 of their custom-made and locally manufactured tents all over the city is an enormous privilege for the company, as well as the largest local endeavor of Lincoln Tent for Miller and his crew.
Miller has owned his business for almost 40 years. During that time he’s kept up with the ever- changing world of tents and is proud to be one of the few national companies remaining to manufacture, rent, and set all of their own products. In doing so, they were the first company to bring the extremely popular clear span tent to the Midwest.
Lincoln Tent has been honored to participate in many Nebraska venues over the years such as Cattlemen’s Ball, Celebrate Lincoln and the state and county fairs, while also forming new partnerships with the Omaha Royals and Homestead National Monument. “None of which would have been possible without the loyalty of longtime customers and the dedication of the Lincoln Tent crew,” said Miller.
