The National MS Society will host its annual program and networking lunch on July 15th from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha. The event will raise funds to support the MS Society and its mission and will feature mystery writer Alex Kava, an Omaha native, who will inspire and entertain lunch participants.
Kava, an international bestselling author, has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide, and often incorporates people and places from Nebraska. Kava is originally from Omaha, NE and considers Omaha her home town. She is launching her next novel “Damaged” in July and Omaha WAMS participants will be among the first to get a signed copy.
The lunch is entitled Women Against MS to celebrate the strength and solidarity of all people whose lives have been touched by MS and to show support for the 400,000 Americans living with MS.
The Women against MS lunch is an event that is designed as both educational and entertaining, a delicious lunch and an inspirational opportunity to network, build teams and motivate others. All monies collected at the event will support the mission of the MS Society-the programs and services for those affected by MS, and the funding of research to help find a cure.
