Outlook Nebraska, Inc. (ONI), a nonprofit organization providing employment and other opportunities for people who are blind and visually impaired, has hired Rachel Becker, Tim Hurley, Janis Compton, and Patrick MacBride.
Rachel Becker has joined ONI as communications assistant, a new position for the organization. She will assist in developing public relations and communications materials. Tim Hurley, Outlook Nebraska’s chief financial officer, recently joined the agency on a full-time basis. During the previous three years, he handled the financial responsibilities of ONI through his consulting business, CFO360. Janis Compton serves as executive administrative assistant at ONI. She has many job duties including the assistance of meeting and event preparation, sorting and delivering mail, and directing incoming calls. Patrick MacBride has joined the agency as project manager, overseeing the process that is involved with ONI’s new projects, including the design of equipment and the estimation of project margins.
Established in 2000, Outlook Nebraska, Inc.’s mission is to enhance the quality of life of the blind and visually impaired. ONI provides employment and workplace training to the blind and visually impaired in a converting operation that supplies a full line of 100 percent recycled fiber content tissue and towel products to the U. S. Government and other customers. The largest employer of the blind and visually impaired in a seven-state region, and the only agency of its kind in Nebraska, ONI provides additional services for its employees, including activities, education, training and health and wellness programs.
